CALENZANO is an Italian municipality located in the Florentine area. Its commitment to fighting climate change has led to specific environmental and urban planning policies, improved infrastructure and management of public assets, as well as better services for citizens. The city adopted its Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plan (SECAP) in 2019, updated it in 2021, and is currently reviewing the plan. Supported by ACR+, Calenzano will work on the learning pillar Fair and Circular Economies, identifying the needs, disseminating the learnings locally, and organising one promotional and one dissemination event to engage with the Italian stakeholders.
